Loggia

I came across this word in the newspaper today. It was in reference to a mansion on sale in Beverly Hills..."French doors open to a loggia."

log·gi·a
(lôj-, lj-)
n.

2. An open balcony in a theater.
[Italian, from Old Italian, from Old French loge; see loge
